Built for Hyundai Motor Co. in conjunction with Rides magazine. This car was a Apple lovers’ dream. With the corporate person in mind, this Genesis was designed as a mobile office on the inside and a head turner on the outside. In total there were three Mac computers, 2 Mac Minis and 1 Mac Book Air. Folding desks were molded into the rear of the front seats to give a place to rest the keyboards or laptops. OEM styled headrest VGA monitors were also molded into the seats so one can view the mac mini on either side of the car. A custom center console was fabricated to turn the vehicle into a 2 Plus 2 and could house the Mac hardware when not in use. Suede appointments were also added to give a plusher feel to the interior compartment. In the trunk area of the Genesis an “audiophile” system was installed. Morel and Genesis components were used to give the passengers a studio sound while driving down the road. Also in the trunk area a Mac Mini and a 20” Mac Cinema display monitor were incorporated into the design. A motorized desk was fabricated to give a place to rest the Mac keyboard and mouse. One of the most impressive features of the Genesis was its ability to accommodate 250 users on a wireless server. The exterior of the vehicle was completely restyled. Custom body cladding was handcrafted to give the Genesis a sportier but sophisticated appearance. The front bumper was given a subtle chin spoiler and lowered two inches. The side skirts were also lowered two inches to give the car a longer and lower look from the side view. The rear bumper of the vehicle was completely redesigned. A cat-back exhaust system was handcrafted using two different diameter exhaust tips at the exit. To accommodate the newly styled exhaust, the bumper was molded around the tips an extended downward to give the rear a lowered appearance A complete color change was done using a custom blended grey. The rear taillights and side markers were given a mild tint treatment. Finally a 2” lowering kit and a set of one off MHT 3 piece 22” wheels were made for the vehicle This Genesis was unveiled at the 2008 Sema Show in Las Vegas where it competed against a slue of renowned builders. The car was awarded the Hyundai 2008 Concept Design award. Media for the Genesis consisted of articles in Rides Magazine, 0-60 and countless Internet blog sites including Wired.com & Cnet.com
Lux Motorwerks built this vehicle for RIDES magazine. The vehicle previously was a 0-60 drift car that needed to be transformed into a showstopper. To enhance the bodylines Lux Motorwerks molded and shaved down a one off custom body kit. The vehicle was stripped and painted Porsche GT3 RS orange with a matte black roof. The Interior of the Hyundai received an upgrade of Cobra Misano Racing Seats. All interior trim pieces were custom painted to match the Porsche GT3RS paint. All door panels, headliner and dashboard accents were rewrapped in suede. The car was lowered on a custom Apex'i suspension and sits on a set of Vossen Forged VF051 powder coated matte black wheels with orange hand-painted bolts. Performance upgrades included Stoptech brakes and Greddy custom exhaust. Media coverage for this vehicle included articles in Rides and 0-60 magazines. Hyundai Motors also used the vehicle on a national tour throughout the 2009 summer season, including all Formula Drift Events, and was also featured at SEMA 2010.
This vehicle was only supposed to get an upgraded audio system, but as time went on it turned into a complete bespoke vehicle. After completing a mild audio system, consisting of Memphis Audio equipment, the car returned for a complete color change and air ride system. A one-off pastel green was created for the vehicle and to achieve no tape lines and a perfect paint job the car was completely stripped, even removing all the windows. The roof was sprayed matte black, to tone the green down slightly. The wheels, which were existing on the car, were color matched to the new paint scheme as well as the OEM brake calipers. A K-Sport air suspension was installed to give the car a perfect stance while parked, and a comfortable ride while driving. During the paint job suede inserts were sewn into the seats and the headliner was wrapped as well. Other interior enhancements were made at the same time, such as bespoke door panels housing two sets of speakers, and the interior trim was color matched to the body. This past winter the G37 received a few more enhancements to the interior. We fabricated an extension of the center console to house two more Memphis Audio amplifiers, while two more JL Audio 10" subwoofers were installed into the rear quarter panels. Custom molded cover panels were applied to retain the OEM seating without any protrusion into the seating area. The next step for the vehicle will be green accent stitching in the seats and a supercharger for added performance.

Lux Motorwerks built this vehicle for Antenna magazine to celebrate Soul Xpression. Every panel and inch of this vehicle was modified. The vehicle was white with red and black interior when it showed up at our facility. Antenna had a fashion inspiration for this vehicle and selected baby blue with brown for the exterior and decided on using perforated leather, men's shirting and denim for the interior. The seats were wrapped with denim with leather and shirting inserts. The rear seats were turned into bucket seats and matched the front. A custom center console was fabricated to hold a mini refrigerator, netbook, flip video, blackberry pearl, and iPod touch. The back of the driver and passenger seats were leather wrapped and fitted with Sony PSP Slims affixed via a custom LED-illuminated mounting system. A sunglasses and watch display with LED lighting was fabricated where the glove box was. A kenwood headunit was fabricated to sit where the double din OEM unit existed, while Memphis Car Audio equipment was used to upgrade the system. On the dash, Lux motorwerks converted a speaker port into a clock using a G-Shock and illuminated the fitment around it. In the trunk a motorized clothing display was fabricated that can be hidden with the touch of a button. The headliner was wrapped in denim and had a mold for the amp and a one-off custom skateboard. Skateboard trucks were used as roof handles. A skateboard wheel was used as a shifter. Lux Motorwerks created a rack for the snowboard on the roof. Media included Antenna & RIDES Magazines, was used during fashion week in NYC and a 1-month grassroots tour, was featured in the KIA booth at SEMA, and made it round at the International Auto Shows, including our backyard the New York International Auto Show.
